Museum and Library Closed for History Faire
The SCHS Museum and Library will be closed today. Our staff and volunteers are at the Schenectady County History Faire at Proctors. Find us there from 12pm-4pm.
Cider & Moonshine at the Mabee Inn
We’ll warm up the tavern and show you how colonial peoples crafted the beverages that sustained their society. Our own Mabee Farm hard apple cider and some classic Mohawk valley moonshine are on the menu!

The SCHS Museum and Library will be closed today. Our staff and volunteers are at the SCHS Annual Meeting at Mabee Farm from 2-4pm. Please find us there.
SCHS Annual Meeting featuring Chris Leonard, Schenectady City Historian and Debut of “Ghosts of Mabee Farm”
After a brief business meeting, Chris Leonard, Schenectady City Historian will present "The Enduring Myths of the American Revolution." Refreshments will be served.
Chris Thomas and his Smoke Dancers: A Haudenosaunee Social Dance
Onondaga artist Chris Thomas is one of this generation’s most celebrated smoke dancers, recognized for the beauty and fluidity of his steps. He is also an inspiring educator who uses performance to teach about Haudenosaunee culture and history, from the public schools to the festival stage.
