Learn the basic skills for creating vibrant powdered glass enamels, and leave with your own colorful design! We’ll learn how to work with a kiln, fusing glass enamel to copper and silver, and then we’ll work with a torch to do silver soldering and bezel making. Students will create their own piece of jewelry, such as earrings, a ring, or a pendant. All tools will be provided. No prior jewelry making experience is required.
Matt Balint is a local Silversmith. He has worked in the field as a professional jewelry maker, and NY state licensed educator, for over 15 years.
