Educational activities are a key component of the Schenectady County Historical Society. Thousands of students visit our sites every year to learn about the impact the history of Schenectady County has on their lives. We are pleased to offer a variety of educational opportunities, including unique programs for schools, group tours, and workshops at all three of our sites.

If you are a teacher looking to bring your students on a field trip to our sites, please check out our School Programs page.

If you would like to bring a staff member from SCHS to your site for a presentation, visit our Outreach page.

For on-site programs tailored to large, non-school groups, see our Group Tours page.

If you are interested in taking a hands-on workshop at SCHS, visit our Workshops page.

For information about internships at SCHS, please visit our Internships page.
