Starting out from Mohawk Harbor\, we’ll\npaddle our way upstream to the Glen Sanders Mansion\nand back\, passing under railroad bridges and around wild\nislands. The paddling will be done by you. The learning will\ncome from an SCHS guide\, who will discuss the history of\nthe river and its surroundings. Kayak from Upstate Kayak\nRentals is included in the price. Please purchase tickets\nonline at schenectadyhistorical.org/programs \n\nKayak Through History tours meet 15 minutes before the start time at the Upstate Kayak Rental booth\, which is located at Mohawk Harbor\, behind Druthers. You can’t miss it: just look for the brightly colored kayaks.\n\n\n \n\n\nNote: If you’re bringing your own kayak\, please park your car and launch your kayak from the Freeman’s Bridge boat launch\, located next to the Water’s Edge restaurant in Scotia.
