Join us for a guided tour along the Mohawk Hudson Bike-Hike Trail beginning at the Mabee Farm Historic Site and ending at the Schenectady County Historical Society, where participants will have the opportunity to explore the exhibit, "Canals & Railroads: From Collaboration to Competition."
The tour will take you on a journey across the history of transportation in Schenectady County, focusing on construction of the Erie Canal and the railroads that opened up the West. At the conclusion of the tour, participants will be able to tour the exhibit "Canals & Railroads: From Collaboration to Competition" on display at the Schenectady County Historical Society.
The Canals & Railroads Bicycle Tour is open to all ages. Participants must provide their own bicycle & helmet, and be able to comfortably ride the approximately 7.5 miles to complete the program.
