Mabee Farm CanalFest
Join us at Mabee Farm Historic Site on Saturday July 25, 2015 for a day of FREE fun, family activities as we celebrate the Erie Canalway!
The CanalFest will include storytelling, canal-themed crafts, blacksmithing and cooking demonstrations inspired by the Erie Canal, tours of the historic Mabee house, and an exhibit featuring historic and contemporary photos of the canal, specifically at Locks 23 and 25. Our Mohawk River bateaux will also be on site!
Discover the tremendous impact the Erie Canal has had on our region’s culture and heritage, and explore the recreational opportunities along the Canalway today.
The Mabee Farm CanalFest is sponsored in part by the Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor, the NYS Canal Corporation, Stewart’s Shops, and Bath Fitter.
