Schenectady Suds: Historic Beer Tour of the Stockade
September 28, 2017
Take a walk along what was once known as “Brewer’s Street,” looking at local history through the lens of a beer glass. This walking tour of the Historic Stockade District will examine the history of brewing and its impact on our history, from the Colonial era to today’s craft brew revival.
The walking tour is approximately one hour long, begins at the SCHS, and concludes with a pint and tour with the brewers at Mad Jack Brewing Company / Van Dyck (pint included in the price!) Join us before the tour for a look at current exhibitions in the Schenectady History Museum. Tickets are $15 and include a pint at the Van Dyck. Advance registration is required. 21+ please!
