Find out more »Drink the Seasons: Madeira
Drink the Seasons is back for an evening of madeira and more at Brouwer House Creative. Led by historian John Gearing, we’ll make — and sample — a variety of historic libations, made with seasonal ingredients. Relax on the patio of Schenectady's oldest home this summer, as we mix up a few rounds of madeira-based cocktails. The most popular wine of 18th century America, George Washington typically enjoyed a few glasses after dinner. Rare Wine Co. has recently recreated the dominant colonial styles, and we'll sample some bottles from their Historic Series. $30; pre-registration required. Must be 21+ with valid ID.
