Our Annual Meeting is a time for members to come together to share their love of local history, and to help move SCHS forward.

Please join us for a brief business meeting, followed by a presentation from Professor Jaap Jacobs of the University of St. Andrews. Professor Jacobs is a preeminent scholar on the history of New Netherland whose work has been published. He also advised SCHS staff on the exhibition “Beyond the Pines: Colonial Schenectady.” Professor Jacobs will discuss his recent research on the subject.

Following Professor Jacobs’ presentation we’ll enjoy a reception on the grounds of Mabee Farm. The house will be open for tours.
