Mohawk River Living History Weekend

Travel back to the 1700s with us! The Brigade of the American Revolution will take over Mabee Farm Historic Site for the weekend, presenting an expansive immersion event focused on the 18th century, including life along the Mohawk River and throughout the Mohawk Valley (Erie Canal) The encampment will feature workshops and demonstrations that explore daily life in the colonial era, recreating the difficulties and joys experienced by those alive in the 1700s. We'll delve into everything from navigating waterways, to wooden boats, to colonial education and medicine to, of course, colonial vices!
