Mainstream Radicalism: Labor Organizing in Schenectady 1886-1906

Historian Catherine Haag's 2023 dissertation explores the confluence of Schenectady's Socialist history,  local workers’ adoption of direct labor action practices at the point of production, and the commitment of local labor leaders to industrial unionism to reveal how radicalism became mainstream among Schenectady’s workers.

SCHS Gala Honoring Len Tantillo

Our inaugural gala will honor the work and contributions of artist Len F. Tantillo. We'll enjoy dinner, a wine tasting, and learn about Mr. Tantillo's newest painting, which captures colonial Schenectady! We may even get a sneak preview... The gala will take place at SUNY Schenectady's Van Curler Room.
