Schenectady’s oldest home, the Brouwer House is a vibrant centerpiece of Schenectady city culture, filled with authentic character. The 1730s home is the only colonial-era Schenectady house open to the public, and possesses an evocative shade garden.
Brouwer House Creative is a space for arts and culture in Schenectady. Currently, we’re happy to have Sweet Sprig, Deborah Angilletta Fine Art, Sizz Handmade, Mary Ann Van Alstyne and Ann Aumick working within our doors.
On many days, Sweet Sprig’s destination shoppe is open, featuring handcrafted skincare products, unique botanically inspired gifts, jewelry and dried flowers arrangements. Located adjacent to Sweet Sprig’s shop is Deborah Angilletta’s painting gallery. Please see Sweet Sprig’s website for current opening hours.
