CanalFest at Mabee Farm

CanalFest at Mabee Farm celebrates the vibrant canalway culture of Schenectady County! CanalFest at Mabee Farm is Saturday, July 15, 2017, 11 am – 3 pm, FREE!

 

Join us at Mabee Farm Historic Site on Saturday July 15, 2017 for a day of FREE fun, family activities as we celebrate the Erie Canalway!

The festivities include live music, games, canal-themed crafts, FREE ICE CREAM, blacksmithing and cooking demonstrations inspired by the Erie Canal, bike tours of the Erie Canal, and tours of the historic Mabee house,  Our Mohawk River bateaux will also be on site!

Discover the tremendous impact the Erie Canal has had on our region’s culture and heritage, and explore the recreational opportunities along the Canalway today.
