Mabee Farm to Fork
The Schenectady County Historical Society and the Electric City Food Co-op are teaming up once again to present Mabee Farm to Fork, a celebration of local foods!
Join us for a pastoral evening in the Barn at Mabee Farm, as we celebrate the farm-to-table tradition. Our four-course meal prepared by Chef Maria DeAngelo features locally-grown foods served alongside Wolf Hollow’s craft brews. This year’s Farm to Fork will have an Italian focus, with locally sourced polenta, handmade pasta, and herbs and wheat grown at Mabee Farm. Chef DeAngelo has been in the restaurant business for 25 years, working the local kitchens in Troy and downtown Schenectady. She has been catering independently for seven years and opened Maria’s at 412 Union St. in 2017.
Acoustix Rox is the evening’s musical guest. The band’s five members bring a range of musical influences to their unique sound, and from that diverse musical background comes carefully crafted sets of popular covers. Mabee Farm to Fork will also feature a raffle and silent auction with incredible prizes donated by local businesses and restaurants.
Show your support for heritage and home-grown foods by joining us for this locally grown feast. Tickets are $60 per person and include a four-course meal made from all seasonal, organic, locally-grown foods. Proceeds from the event support the Schenectady County Historical Society and the membership drive for the Electric City Food Co-op.
Mabee Farm to Fork is made possible by the generosity of our sponsors, including Wolf Hollow Brewing Company.
