Spend the spring break with us, as we search for signs of life at Mabee Farm! Today the Mabee Farm will host special springtime educational activities, including tasty treats, a craft, and more!
Our inaugural gala will honor the work and contributions of artist Len F. Tantillo. We'll enjoy dinner, a wine tasting, and learn about Mr. Tantillo's newest painting, which captures colonial Schenectady! We may even get a sneak preview... The gala will take place at SUNY Schenectady's Van Curler Room.
Instructor Karen Anthony of Karen’s Paint pARTies will teach us to paint a spring scene.
Join us for a hands-on experience where you'll learn to create personalized blends of soothing bath salts and aromatic tub teas, transforming your bath time into a luxurious and rejuvenating retreat.
Due to all the events we have going on today, Mabee Farm will be closed until Earth Night begins at 4:30pm. Thanks for understanding.
Schenectady has long been home to peoples of many faiths. The various churches of the Schenectady Stockade stand out for their beauty and storied history. In this tour, we’ll explore these spaces and hear their stories from the people who keep them sacred today.
We're kicking off another great season of Stockade adventures with a very special springtime tea! Our good friend Sylvie Briber will be our host, as she shares some of her favorite tales from the neighborhood.
Earth Night is an evening celebration of sustainability and living in harmony with the planet. Gather together with friends and neighbors as we present down-to-earth music, art, and workshops that honor Mother Earth and our natural surroundings. The fun starts at 4pm, and we’ll be on site until 8, finishing the evening with a campfire and stories from the Earth.
The SCHS Museum and Library will be closed today. Our staff and volunteers are at the Schenectady County History Faire at Proctors. Find us there from 12pm-4pm.
