Found all the eggs you can at the Riverside Park egg hunt? Come to the Schenectady County Historical Society to find some "easter eggs" and hidden secrets in our exhibit scavenger hunt! You can also make tulip table decorations to celebrate spring and connect to New York's Dutch roots.
We’ll warm up the tavern and show you how folks in the 18th century crafted the beverages that sustained their society. Our own Mabee Farm hard apple cider and some classic Mohawk valley moonshine are on the menu!
Participants will be able to touch and hold some of the weapons discussed during this program, and get a feel for what life on the frontier, farm, or battlefield was like in the 1700s and 1800s.
Mabee Farm and the Museum/Library will be closed on April 19 as our staff and volunteers are attending the Schenectady County History Fair at Proctors. Come find us there!
